Introducing Logcast – A New Way to Hear From the Team at Keops
We’re used to talking about cabins - we’ve been doing it for over two decades. But now, we’re doing it a little differently.
We’re excited to announce that Logcast, our brand-new podcast and video series, is officially underway - and we’ve already filmed the very first episode.
That’s right - we’re stepping in front of the mic (and camera) to share the stories, ideas, and real-life experiences that make Keops what it is. This isn’t a corporate broadcast or a hard sell. It’s an honest, down-to-earth series from the people who live and breathe log cabins - and we hope you’ll come along for the ride.
Why Logcast?
We’ve had this idea brewing for a while.
Every week, we speak to people at all stages of the cabin journey – from those just dipping a toe in, to customers who’ve lived with their cabin for years. And every conversation reminds us that there’s so much more to a Keops build than just timber and screws.
There are dreams, dilemmas, brilliant ideas, and a lot of great questions. People want to know how others are using their cabins. They want to understand the practical side of planning and building. And most of all, they want to hear real voices and honest advice – not just polished brochure copy.
So we thought, why not make something for all of that? A relaxed, ongoing series where we can explore the world of log cabins in a bit more depth. No jargon. No sales pitch. Just real talk about a way of living that’s growing fast and evolving in exciting ways.
What you’ll hear on Logcast
We’ve now wrapped filming for our very first episode - and we can’t wait to share it with you soon.
Throughout the series, you’ll hear from voices across the Keops team, plus some very special guests. Expect conversations that cover:
How we design and build cabins – a behind-the-scenes look at our process, from first enquiry to final fitting
Sustainable living and off-grid cabins – including how people are using cabins to live greener, simpler lives
Creative cabin uses – from art studios and wellness spaces to guest lodges and staff accommodation
Real customer stories – what it’s actually like to live, work, or relax in a Keops cabin
Planning permission and foundations – yes, the practical bits too!
We’re not sticking to a rigid script. Each episode will follow the flow of a natural conversation – sometimes educational, sometimes inspiring, sometimes just entertaining.
We want to hear from you, too
One of the best parts of our job is hearing from people who are passionate about their outdoor space. So, we’re inviting you to help shape Logcast.
Got a question you’d love us to answer in an episode?
Maybe you’re wondering what timber thickness is best for year-round use. Or how long it really takes to install a cabin. Or what’s involved in going off-grid. Or perhaps you’re just curious about what the team would build if they were creating a cabin of their own.
Whatever it is, we’d love to hear it.
Email your questions to:enquiries@logcabins.co.uk
We’ll be answering a selection of them in future episodes – so don’t be shy!
Why this matters to us
Over the years, we’ve built a reputation for quality, care, and customer service – and we’re proud of that. But we also know that not everyone gets to see the passion that goes into every cabin. The team discussions. The customer lightbulb moments. The clever design ideas. The challenges we’ve helped people overcome.
With Logcast, we want to open the door (or cabin window) to those stories.
We’re not trying to be influencers. We’re just a friendly, experienced team who love what we do – and we want to share that with anyone who’s curious about cabins, creativity, or building something that lasts.
