One of the biggest misconceptions about bespoke buildings is that customers need to arrive with a perfectly finished set of plans.
In reality, that's rarely the case.
Most people simply have an idea.
Perhaps you'd like a garden room to work from home, a home gym, a family games room or even a permanent living space. You might know roughly how much space you have available, or maybe you've seen another building you like.
That's more than enough to get started.

What information do we need?
Getting started is often much simpler than people expect. In most cases, we only need a few key details to begin designing your bespoke log cabin.

What will the building be used for?
Whether you're planning a garden office, home gym, hobby room, guest accommodation, or outdoor living space, understanding the intended use helps us recommend the most suitable wall thickness, insulation options, and overall specification.
Where will the building be positioned?
If the log cabin or garden room is being installed in a garden, knowing the approximate distance from any boundary helps us design the building appropriately and, where possible, minimise planning permission requirements.
Do you have a vision for the doors and windows?
For example, you may want double doors at the front, additional glazing, a specific window layout, or a design that makes the most of a particular view. Once we understand how the building will be used, we can recommend suitable layouts and configurations.
A rough floor plan or sketch (if applicable)
This can be particularly helpful for larger or multi-room log cabins, although it doesn't need to be professionally drawn.
