Placing your order
A deposit of 20% is required at the time of order. You will receive an order confirmation, deposit invoice, plus a "What Happens Next" letter, a timetable of events, insulation fitting instructions (if applicable) & preservative treatment information.
An invoice for the balance of payment will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks prior to your cabin delivery.
Our normal opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm. We are able to make arrangements outside of the above mentioned hours and at weekends, however, in ALL cases, visits are by appointment only so that we can allocate a member of staff to be present to devote adequate time to our visiting customers.
Bearing in mind that most of our cabins are being made fresh especially for you to your design requirements, we need a sensible time frame in which to process the order, design, schedule production, source correct high grades of raw materials, manufacture, package and transport.
This is reliably achieved in 6 weeks on average.
more on delivery time
All of our delivery lorries are equipped with Moffat Mounty / Kooi fork lift trucks on board.
These are incredibly versatile machines, that allow the driver to offload the cabin packs from the side of the lorry, travel a short distance and place the pack as close to your build site as is possible.

We do offer an efficient installation service nationwide, although the majority of our customers take enjoyment from self assembly and we are available 24/7 to provide expert advice over the telephone should the need arise.

Construction teams
We can construct your cabin for you and offer a Nationwide and European service.
We can also carry out ground work and base preparation.
Our teams are from a satellite company of qualified house builders that have built thousands of our cabins over the past six years and laid hundreds of concrete bases and designed and built many timber support structures.
Teams will vary in size depending on the job from two to ten men.
Each team operates with a fully equipped van and specialist professional tools and access equipment.
They are all based in Worcestershire but will travel to each job and endeavour to be on site ready to start work at 0730 hrs.
Their "days" are generally long and they will work until it gets too dark (although they do have lighting gantries) to get the job finished.
Many cabins that we build are complex building projects that require a sound knowledge and experience of building techniques, safe working and meeting required building standards. We can provide this expertise. This work is not a job for "shed erectors".
All team members are reliable and polite.
They (and we) carry third party liability insurance cover of £2 million and up to £5 million on commercial projects.

DIY - Constructing your log cabin yourself
The driver will hand you the instructions for assembling the cabin.
If you are building the cabin yourself, please spend time familiarising yourself with the assembly instructions. There will be two documents:-
A Generic booklet that guides you through the various stages of assembly, in general terms.
A Parts List. This document is very specific to your cabin and is the real clue to how it all goes together. The document is in several languages of which English is one.
Every item is listed giving a name of the item, a quantity, a sketch to indicate its general appearance and an overall length. Each item is given a code letter (not on the actual part).
On the same document will be a wall plan drawing which calls up the part code needed and pictorially the quantity of each part as you build up the wall.
On commencement of the build we suggest that parts are sorted into piles of similar pieces and each pile is identified against the parts list. It will then be easy to draw from the relevant pile for the piece required according to the wall plans.
If you have any doubts or concerns please call our help line at any time and as many times as you like - 01386 861961
