Delivery Details

Bearing in mind that most of our cabins are being made fresh especially for you to your design requirements, we need a sensible time frame in which to process the order, design, schedule production, source correct high grades of raw materials, manufacture, package and transport.

This is reliably achieved in 6 weeks on average.
more on delivery time

All of our delivery lorries are equipped with Moffat Mounty / Kooi fork lift trucks on board.

These are incredibly versatile machines, that allow the driver to offload the cabin packs from the side of the lorry, travel a short distance and place the pack as close to your build site as is possible.

Planning on a log cabin or outbuilding? What to consider...

You've probably arrived here because you're interested in adding an extension or outbuilding to your home. Well did you know that a log cabin can be a very viable and cost effective alternative? In most circumstances you can put a log cabin in your garden without the need for planning permission, using your permitted development rights - our step by step guide will help you through the rules.

What are the advantages of a Keops log cabin?

Cheaper than a brick built building
Warm & cosy even in the depths of winter
We can tailor make any cabin to your exact size and specification
10 year guarantee
PEFC certified northern Scandinavian pine
Easy and quick to install
Choice of insulation levels up to building regulations standard
Qualified builders for construction (if you don't fancy doing it yourself)

Which style of log cabin should I choose?

It really depends on what you want to use your cabin for and how much space in your garden you have available. So if you're looking for a summerhouse, studio, gym, home office, extra space for the teenagers, games room or similar, then one of our small to medium style cabins would be suitable. Remember with any of our Keops Classic, Cottage, Quatra and Penta styles, you can choose the exact size and layout to suit you - just ask us for a quote. If you need to keep under the 2.5m height, then our Moderna range will be ideal for you, again we can make it in any size.

If you're looking for a lodge style cabin with several rooms then you might consider the Forest Lodge or one of our Andorra or Monaco lodges. All of these feature a steeper roof which allows for a versatile and useful loft area. Or how about our Evesham style with its feature porch?

What if I need extra living space for a residential or granny annex?

Remarkably, you can put a very large cabin within the domestic curtilage of your dwelling house without the need for planning permission if it is classed as a caravan or mobile home. Again permitted rights will usually apply and it has to be used in a manner incidental to the house, so for example family members could sleep in the mobile home but take meals in the house. What's more the mobile home can be up to a spacious 6.8 x 20 metre size or 22 x 65 feet and they are exempt from VAT and building regulations control. Our Two Bedroom Lodge can be classed as a mobile home and we've sold many for this purpose but again we can design with 3, 4 or 5 bedrooms to suit your requirements.
